The first edition of the Mahogany Tarot deck contains the original classic Rider-Waite-Smith artwork which was originally drawn in 1909 by Pamela Colman Smith under the direction of Arthur Edward Waite and additional drawings by Kasheera Hickson. The additional drawings portray black and brown people of the African/Indigenous diaspora. A tarot deck made with love for black men and women.

Kasheera Hickson is an artist, tarot reader, and energy healer who became inspired while learning the art of tarot to reimagine the Rider-Waite Deck in shades of Mahogany. This deck acts as the mahogany twin to the traditional Rider Waite Smith deck. The additional artistic renderings remain true to the classic imagery that has made the original so timeless and loved.
